School Highlights
Amy McCracken, associate dean for graduate programs, was named one of Virginia Business' 2025 Women in Leadership honorees. These awards celebrate top women executives for their overall professional accomplishments, civic engagement, mentorship, and breaking glass ceilings.
Michel Robe, professor of finance, chaired the CEMA 2025 Scientific Committee held at the Rice School of Business. Robe developed the conference's academic program and presented research on risk premia in agriculture futures markets. Other faculty presentations included Deniz Besik, Art Durnev, and Nancy Tran.
Art Durnev, distinguished chair in finance, published Modern Money Mechanics, a textbook covering topics from traditional finance fundamentals to modern innovations including investments, cryptocurrency, and NFT valuation.
